The department is relatively small in number of people terms and is a blend of both graduate engineers and experienced quality technicians, some of whom are veteran employees.

Operating company wide, the department supports all operational areas of the business, including customer service, manufacturing processes, regulatory processes, technical, research and development, training/development, warranty and customer concerns.

In addition to support activity, a key area of function for the Quality Department is company wide continuous improvement.

Some of the techniques currently being used are based on QS9000, the automotive quality standard.
